I work as art director for Landscape Communications Inc. We produce 3 magazines Landscape Architect, Landscape Contractor and Landscape Superintendent. Bad tree was created for a feature article for the Landscape Contractor magazine. The article was on How to identify Bad Trees. I drew a quick image for the opening of the article and when the publisher saw the article, he wanted Bad Tree on the cover. Look to the left for a link to the original image. We all started kidding around about making this a comic strip. So in 2003 Bad Tree Comic strip was born. I originally started writing the comic strip with contractors in mind, but later started incorporating other material. So I hope you enjoy the comics.
